Bruschetta Flatbread

Ingredients

HaleLife Bakery Flatbread, thawed

1/2 cup vegan mozzarella cheese

1 cup fresh bruschetta, (made ahead of time, recipe below)

1 cup fresh arugula

2 tbsp balsamic glaze (we recommend Simple Girl)

salt/pepper to taste

Bruschetta Topping
4 plum tomatoes, diced
1/2 red onion, diced

3-4 garlic cloves, chopped

2 tsp basil, coarsely chopped

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

salt/pepper to taste

1/4 c extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine all bruschetta topping ingredients in a small mixing bowl and set aside

  3. Place thawed flatbread on greased baking sheet

  4. Top flatbread with shredded mozzarella cheese, bruschetta topping and then arugula (in order)

  5. Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted

  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve warm.
