French Toast Bites
6 HaleLife Bakery Dinner Rolls, cut into thirds
1 1/2 T. ground chia seeds
1/2 T. maple syrup
1 cup Silk Unsweetened Coconut Milk
1/2 t. cinnamon (ground)
1/2 t. vanilla extract
Mix chia seeds, maple syrup, coconut milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in medium bowl until well combined. Place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Do not take the mixture out of the refrigerator before 20 minutes - this is an important step for a successful recipe.
Air Fryer Version - Preheat air fryer at 390 degrees for 5 minutes.
Stovetop Version - Preheat buttered/oiled skillet on medium high heat for 5 minutes.
Dip each piece of dinner roll into the batter for 10 to 15 seconds. Each piece should be coated and semi-saturated with batter.
Air Fryer Version - Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil. Place French toast bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry at 390 degrees for 6 minutes.
Stovetop Version - Place French toast bites on skillet for 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown - flip and repeat.
Serve warm with maple syrup, fruit preserves, or powdered sugar. Enjoy!
